Why We Exist

We've all been there...

Funds are about to expire, and you need to get a package out the door. The only tools you have are half-hearted guidance and a couple of past examples that make zero sense—and probably weren’t even done right.

So what do we do?

We grind.
We push forward.
We get by.

But what if you're somebody that doesn't want to get by...?

What if you take pride in your work...?

What if you want to approach every effort with confidence, knowing where the goal line is and how to get there?

What if you want to walk into every task already thinking about how to make it better next time?

After 17-years of high-level DoD Acquisition support as both a contractor and civilian...

I’ve tutored new professionals, colleagues, clients—even people written off as “lost causes.”
Not because they weren’t capable—but because no one ever gave them a solid foundation.

And every time, I saw the same thing:

When people are given the right tools and guidance, they don’t just improve—they THRIVE.

They grow.
They lead.
They carry the torch for others.

Whatever your reason for being here— whether it's clarity, growth, or just a better way...

... We’re here to help you build that foundation.

We’re not the magic switch that turns problems into success overnight.
But we are the switch that turns shaky ground into solid footing.

And from that foundation—you get to decide what you build.

But something tells me if you’re here, and you have the fire to improve—whatever you build is going to be the right move.

Meet The Creator

My name is Ashton Ball, and I’ve supported the federal government for the past 17 years—across both classified and unclassified DoD acquisition efforts.

I’ve worked on both sides of the spectrum—as a contractor and a civilian—which gives me a unique perspective into how these worlds operate (and sometimes collide). Over my career, I’ve been trusted with some of the most complex acquisition challenges: from hardware/software to high-stakes service contracts, with over 1,000 efforts fulfilled—some scaling up to $8 billion in scope.

Because of that, I’ve received direct-hire offers, CEO recognition, and promotions, but more importantly—I’ve earned the chance to mentor professionals who felt completely overwhelmed by acquisition. Not because they lacked talent, but because no one ever made the process clear.

I’ve learned it’s not about how smart you are—it’s about how clearly you can explain what matters.

That belief led me to create the C2C Method.

Federal Acquisition, Made Simple.

Dual-Sided Experience

I've worked as both a contractor and a civilian, giving me rare insight into how both sides operate—and how to bridge the gap between them.

$8B+ Acquisition Expertise

Over 1,000 fulfilled efforts across hardware, software, and services—including high-stakes contracts scaling up to $8 billion.

Real Mentorship Impact

I've helped overwhelmed professionals become top performers, not by overcomplicating things—but by making acquisition finally make sense.
